Blood Vessels’ First Gameplay Release!
Greetings Vampires!
Today is a huge milestone for the Blood Vessels project!
Our storybot and first two stories have been released this week. The bot will be posting daily; carrying a story forward as determined by your vampire’s stats, their successes, and their failures.
The Lamppost Murders is our first adventure and is available for ALL users on the Blood Vessels Discord. In this story, vampires are being murdered throughout the city. You’ll need to find out who’s doing it… and how?
In order to play, you’ll need to create a Beta vampire to play. That is, unless you own a Blood Vessels vampire NFT.

Not only do you get a unique 1-of-1 vampire with amazing art, stats, and abilities, Vampire NFT owners will also be able to play in the exclusive Inferno storyline!
Longer and more detailed than The Lamppost Murders, in the Inferno your vampire awakens in a burning hotel on the fateful night of the Chicago Fire in 1871. As the city burns, so too does a new strange hunger.
You’ll need the Vampire Role in Discord to get access to Inferno, and owning a Vampire will open a slew of other NFT holder-exclusive rooms. If you already own a BV NFT, but don’t have the role on Discord, navigate to https://bloodvessels.io/purchase and link your wallet.
To link your wallet, follow these instructions:
- Click Purchase on the landing page.
2. Connect your wallet or sign up for one using Metamask of MagicLink

3. Follow the instructions as they appear, starting with Get Started. Once your wallet is signed you should be able to see the purchase flow.
4. Click Maybe Later during the purchase step.
Clicking Maybe Later will take you to a card titled The Community. Once there, you’ll be asked if you want to link your Discord. (It’ll look different than mine, since I’ve connected my account.)
Link your Discord and you should get the Vampire role. if you have a Blood Vessels Vampire in the linked wallet, you should see this role in our Discord. You are now one of us! Embrace the darkness, Vampire!
