About Blood Vessels

Blood Vessels is a narrative roleplaying game, inspired by classic vampire lore and weird science fiction.

Set in Chicago during the turn of the 19th century, Blood Vessels combines outstanding art and a unique roleplaying experience to create a community-driven game for fans of the sci-fi horror / fantasy genre & tabletop rpg games alike.

Blood Vessels is a game about collaborative storytelling. You play a unique character that interacts with a robust world, set against a fictional backdrop of 1870–1890s America… and beyond!

As the game progresses, you’ll be introduced to other key characters — each with their own agenda and motivations — that form different factions within the Blood Vessels setting.

Each of these factions represents the different viewpoints of vampires in the world. Some wish to co-exist with humans and learn the origin of their strange, newfound power. Others wish to use that same power to lord over humankind as its rulers. And all shades in between!

Your choices will shape the direction of these factions and help define your place on the food chain.

You’ll also take part in encounters that will help progress your character through the story, with each decision shaping the next arc. With each choice, you’ll build ownership in the world, with your decisions having a direct impact on how the story unfolds & how the game develops for seasons to come!
